Crucial M4 SSD 128GB Review

As we see the SSD popularity rise and the HDD’s fall, we are getting closer and closer to the mark where SSDs can be as common; they are no longer just for the enthusiast.  Crucial is bridging that gap by bringing us an SSD in the form of the M4, which not only performs but is under $1.00 per GB.  The drive’s performance is unquestionable, and packaging the M4 with a data transfer kit, which  makes it much more attractive to those that might be tentative about tinkering too much, is sheer brilliance.

The M4 SSD 128GB delivers on both affordability and performance making it a no brainer.

Samsung 840 EVO 250GB Review

We love speed... and after reviewing the Samsung 840 Pro, we were chomping at the bit to get the 840 EVO in the lab. Not only does the newer EVO model use newer 19nm 3-bit Triple-Level Cell vs that of 2-bit MLC found in the 840 Pro, but it also features a much more attractive price-point and an increased IOPS... on paper.
