I am always looking for new and better ways to do things with my Windows Home Server.  Lately, it has been pretty stale… finding new things that is.  Then, when not looking for something, I found something; Sockso Music Server.

I recently had an interesting issue that was near impossible to find a solution to.  My Windows Vista installation had suffered a bit and it seems that all of my folder views were completely whacked.  I couldn’t reset the views to defaults and it was driving me crazy.

Media Center in Windows Vista has the capabilities of displaying and playing DVD content stored on your personal computer, however this feature is not enabled by default.  Enabling this feature is pretty easy and can be done by simply modifying your registry.
