Genius Releases One of the Slimmest Optical Camcorders in the Market

March 22, 2012, Taipei, Taiwan – Genius, a leading maker of computer peripherals, today announces their initial camcorder launch for the USA and Canada, G-Shot HD575T. This hybrid high-definition touch screen camcorder gives users the power to capture and shoot high-quality pictures and video at a great value.

With a main body width of only 2.28”, the G-Shot HD575T is one of the slimmest optical camcorders available in the market. Able to shoot high definition video in 1080p, this camcorder can also take up to 16MP still images with software interpolation. Additionally, high-quality pictures and videos can be recorded at a distance thanks to the 5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom.

The 3” LTPS touch displays easily folds in and out as well as rotates. By simply touching the screen before taking a picture, brightness adjustments can be made with the user-friendly Auto Exposure feature. After taking a shot, you can easily rotate pictures with just a twist of your finger. The included Arcsoft Total Media Extreme software gives users professional photo editing ability, once the pictures and videos are downloaded to your computer.

No matter the lighting situation, the G-Shot HD575T ensures high-quality pictures and videos. The backlight compensation mode makes sure that your family and friend’s faces can be seen clearly. If you are recording video or taking pictures in low-light areas, the G-Shot HD575T LED light and flash are easily enabled.

When the Motion Detection Mode is turned on, the G-Shot HD575T can record without anyone needing to stand beside the camera. When motion is detected, the camera will start recording and stop recording once the image stops moving – saving power.

The G-Shot HD575T comes with 32MB internal memory with dual SD slots supporting Micro SD and HCSD for more memory options as well as a HDMI cable allowing you to enjoy high quality videos and photos without the compromise of playback quality.
