Full Screen: 4:3, Widescreen 16:9. Outside of that, as long as you followed the tutorial, it should have worked. These are the exact settings I used to convert movies for my 2nd Gen Touch as well. Were you able to play the video using iTunes? I would be sure that the process wasn't interrupted, as an incomplete file may cause the video to not play.

The aspect ratio of the original movie is pretty much all you need to know. I didn't know exactly which preset I was supposed to use. The movie is full screen so I clicked the iPod small screen 4:3 CRF 21 iTunes one....Also, I have a 2nd gen iPod touch if that helps. I'm not sure what all this "aspect ratio" stuff means. Maybe that's the problem. Any chance you know what I'm doing wrong?

So, I guess I’m not that tech savvy but I think I did all of this correctly, and yet when I converted a movie (from avi) with WinFF it wouldn’t show up in my itunes library or play for that matter.
