When you are on the go, sometimes having the multimedia connectivity you want isn't always available to you. When I travel, I like to bring my laptop with me wherever I go and there is nothing better than sitting in a hotel room late at night with my laptop hooked up to their TV watching the movies I bring with me. There has also been plenty of times when I tried to sync three different videos running to three different TV's for a presentation booth. Unfortunately, my work laptop does not have an HDMI port built-in, and I hate traveling with more than one laptop. Open mouth, insert foot! Ok, after years of being one to point out plenty of Mac problems and faults to everyone I know, I have finally found a reason to buy one. Everyone knows, when you go to see a 3D movie... you don't do so on your first date! Why? because of the stupid glasses they make you wear. I don't know who got paid to design them, but I should not have to pay to wear them. The only reason someone should pay for those 3D glasses is because they will laugh like crazy looking at how stupid people look wearing them. HDMI has been touted as one of the best things to happen to the digital entertainment center. The ability to carry video and audio over a high bandwidth cable means less clutter and higher quality.
