jQuery Pin It Button For Images

If you’re looking for an easy way to pin images in your blog posts and pages, this plugin will help you with that. It highlights images and adds a “Pin it” button over them once the user hovers his mouse over an image. Once the user clicks the “Pin it” button, the plugin shows a pop-up window with the image and a description. Everything is ready for pinning, although the user can alter the description.

The plugin allows you to:

  • choose from where the description should be taken (possible options: page title, page description and alt/title tags from the image)
  • choose which pictures shouldn’t show the “Pin it” button (using classes)
  • choose which pictures should show the “Pin it” button (all images, post images, images with certain class(es))
  • choose if you want to show the “Pin it” button on home page, single posts, single pages or category pages
  • disable showing the button on certain posts and pages (works only on single posts and single pages)
  • choose transparency level depending on your needs
  • use your own Pinterest button design

  1. Joe, you provide some outstanding information.

However, the real truth is that plugins (themes, or templates) are often not the biggest problem for most WordPress users. They want to get traffic, they want an online business. Keep adding or changing plugins, themes and other features does not solve their real problem. WordPress “as is” won’t build an online business. It’s missing a do-able start-to-finish BUSINESS process.

Surely, you can slog through the mountains of business building advice and tools that are out there. But for most WordPress users it all ends up being too much.

So, despite the dazzling display of WordPress features, the reality for most (non-tech) people who want to create a web business with WordPress is that they need to adhere to an easy-to-follow, all-in-one, proven, ethical webbusiness-building system (not a get rich quick scheme), tailored to the WordPress platform, to get (1) a significant amount of traffic and get (2) targeted traffic (example of such a system: WealthPrinciples dot net).

Otherwise you’ll end up having (and building) only a WordPress webSITE (or BLOG) but not a webBUSINESS.
