Face it; we all love gadgets. I love them more than most. I have been running a lot lately, training, competing, etc. While running with my phone is an option for training; running long distances with my phone isn't. Additionally, running through the muck and mud with a phone strapped to you is just asking for trouble. I set out on a path to find the OCRADDICT's dream companion, a GPS training watch that can handle all the things we throw at it... and more. That means it needs to be durable, waterproof, include GPS (duh), and provide the functionality to track and improve my training.

Let’s face it, we love showing the world what we have or have accomplished. For those of you that own a GoPro, this task has become much easier to accomplish than others fumbling about with their camera phones while trying to find the finish line, navigate an obstacle, or flying down a mountain with fiberglass strapped to your feet. While wearing a GoPro, …

Until recently, I have never really had any desire to run with any music. Not sure the reason, but the rhythmic pounding of my feet and the wind in the trees always seemed to be enough. Perhaps it was because I didn't really start running any true distance until this year. The fact of the matter is, I have been getting bored on my longer runs. Without any distraction, other than an occasional bird, I find it harder to keep focused on running. In an effort to bring back that loving feeling, I went on a search to spend as little money as I can and rekindle that flame that once burned.

The more I travel, the more I realize that my head was not designed for earphones. I can’t find a comfortable pair of earphones anywhere, and I will not relegate myself to wearing a bulky set of 1980’s headphones. I might as well strap a sub-woofer to my face, throw some parachute pants on, and bob my head up and …

In my younger days, cough cough.. !NURSE!!, cough cough, I would game like there was no tomorrow. There was no Microsoft Office, there was no Quickbooks, Open Office, or LANDesk. There was Unreal Tournament, NFS, Quake, Battlefield, C.O.D. (not this website). My desk was a war zone, my office was a LAN party, and my friends were my comrades fighting …

There is a new category of computer user out there that I am discovering. I have been well aware of the uber geek that accepts nothing more than maxing out their credit cards on the top of the line peripherals and equipment, and I have been versed in the practices of the novice as well. New to me is what …
