Not a whole lot in the package, but then again, what do you expect for $30? Also, what else do you need? You get the headset and a manual, if you can’t figure out what to do from there send your PC to me and I will find a good home for it. I don’t think I even opened the manual. Seriously, what do you need to know that you can’t figure out from trial and error with headphones?
You will notice in the picture below a shot of the in-line volume/mute control.
ow can I say this nicely? The volume control stinks. Was that nice enough? The mute was fine, just a simple switch, but in order to change the volume you need to finesse the round dial with your finger or thumb in either a clockwise or counterclockwise motion. Sounds easy enough, but try it after a half-bag of Doritos then come see me. Ok, it was a whole bag, but you get the idea. It is not easy to manipulate. It does have a clip on the backside so you can attach it to your lapel, if you are a dork and actually have a lapel like me.
The jack hookup was simple enough for me though, obtuse as I am. The black jack goes into the speaker or headphone “out” and the pink one goes into the microphone “in”.
finally someone who is not a hater and reads the instructions i bought theese love them but i read the reviews and 80% have nothing good to say about them becouse they go and wear them like a traditional headset without reading the instrutions that really is what gets me
