13. Turn Windows Features on or off

For some reason, Windows 7 comes with things like Tablet PC Components turned on by default.  You can manage some things like which games are showing to enabling an OCR engine so you can index tiff images for search.

  1. Open the Control Panel
  2. Choose Programs and select Turn Windows Features on and off under Programs and features
  3. Make your changes!

    You know how you view a folder in details mode, the columns are squished by default and it leaves this useless white space on the right? When I right click the top columns it allows me to automatically resize all columns to fit. The problem is I have to do this for every folder manually. Is there a way to have it to that by default? Some sort of registry hack?
