Olive unveils new line of amplified HD Music Systems and smart Music OS

The new 4HD and 5HD Music Systems draw upon Olive’s long-standing audio engineering excellence, featuring 32-bit/384kHz TI Burr-Brown Digital-to-Analog Converters and dual HD amplifiers to deliver breathtaking sound directly to your speakers. All Olive products are now powered by a new hardware platform and Music Operating System with a lightning-fast touch-screen interface. The new Olive Music OS was redesigned from scratch to take advantage of the next-generation hardware platform. The next-generation 6HD Music Server remains a truly passive stereo component, featuring a fully balanced differential DAC design with two Burr-Brown PCM1792A, and a linear high-precision power supply with custom-build toroidal transformers.

Pricing & Availability
The Olive 4HD, 5HD and 6HD will be available starting in Q1/2013. Customers can begin pre-ordering all models today through the Olive Online Store (www.olivehd.com) — shipping to 220 countries — or through selected Olive Authorized Resellers in 50 countries. The 4HD will be available for a suggested retail price of $1,499 (US), the 5HD starts at $2,999 (US), and the 6HD at $4,999 (US).
