The new 4HD and 5HD Music Systems draw upon Olive’s long-standing audio engineering excellence, featuring 32-bit/384kHz TI Burr-Brown Digital-to-Analog Converters and dual HD amplifiers to deliver breathtaking sound directly to your speakers. All Olive products are now powered by a new hardware platform and Music Operating System with a lightning-fast touch-screen interface. The new Olive Music OS was redesigned from scratch to take advantage of the next-generation hardware platform. Navigation performance is now 10X faster, delivering fluid screen transitions and stunning animations. Engineered exclusively for music, the new touch-screen interface allows you to customize the way you view and browse your music collection, and play your selection with one simple touch of a finger. It is also the world’s first to incorporate a direct feedback loop with customers, allowing Olive to focus its development on features and improvements based on community demand and rating.

To unite all your digital music libraries the new product line comes with Olive’s wireless HD docking station feature. For wireless HD music streaming the new platform integrates Wi-Fi DirectTM and features dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi support. Industry-renowned for its best-in-class sound quality Olive has equipped its new HD Music Systems with a high-resolution 32-bit/384kHz TI Burr-Brown DAC with 8X oversampling and an impressive SNR of 112dB, and dual HD amplifiers for direct connection to passive speakers. The next-generation 6HD Music Server remains a truly passive stereo component, featuring a fully balanced differential DAC design with two Burr-Brown PCM1792A, and a linear high-precision power supply with custom-build toroidal transformers.
A unique hallmark of Olive solutions is their built-in storage capacity, a strong differentiator to the world’s many music streaming solutions. Pricing & Availability
The Olive 4HD, 5HD and 6HD will be available starting in Q1/2013. Customers can begin pre-ordering all models today through the Olive Online Store (www.olivehd.com) — shipping to 220 countries — or through selected Olive Authorized Resellers in 50 countries. The 4HD will be available for a suggested retail price of $1,499 (US), the 5HD starts at $2,999 (US), and the 6HD at $4,999 (US).
