The ARC Mini R2 is one of the cases that will be hard to find a replacement for. Its sleek design and functional modular interior feeds your appetite for destruction with flexible configurations. Ignoring the popular mantra of case designers, Fractal Design’s use of screws instead of rivets leaves us with a chassis that can stand the test of time without falling victim to our 18v Makita.
If there was something I had to complain about, and I am being picky here, is that lack of tool free design. However, I would rather have thumbscrews and nice white expansion covers over a horribly implemented tool free design any day.
With all that said, the high quality build rivals that of cases that cost twice as much. Weighing in at just under $99.99 USD, the ARC Mini R2 faces some stiff competition squarely and softly speaks, “Go ahead, make my day”.
