HSPC Tech Station 14×8

As I pull the pieces out that will construct this geek’s dream, goose bumps raise my hairs; is this what I have been looking for the whole time? Packaged inside this box are the two high quality bench surfaces, the four vertical supports, a 120mm fan, a bunch of assembling supplies, and an ATX Control Kit. To put this thing together you need only a Phillips head screw driver, the parts, the instructions (optional), and some patience.

Assembly is quick and painless. The instructions are precise and in my opinion, optional. Full installation time took less than 20 minutes (without instructions) and everything fit as it should. I have to admit though, when I first pulled everything out of the box and spread it out over the floor, I thought to myself that it would be a great benefit to have these pre-assembled. Much to my excitement, with a little digging, I have discovered that HSPC does offer these pre-assembled for just about $16.00 more.

During the time you fiddle with what will eventually be your masterpiece, you will notice the little details that make good products great. Things like lack of sharp edges, precise fits, and aesthetics. A good illustration of this would be the inclusion of rubber feet that that keep your test bench in place, or clean precise lines when looking at it from other angles. Viewing the completed product is rarely more exciting than the anticipation of the final product, but here we are not let down.
